The hotel had a nice panoramic view of the street, and though there was some noise from the bar in the evening and the dustcart in the morning, the room was well-equipped and clean, providing a small but satisfactory space. The hotel is in a superb location, right in the center of St Andrews close to Old Course and all amenities. The rooms, though compact, were clean and very comfortable, facing onto Playfair street.
